defined as the upward acting force exerted on the immersed object

manipulated: bouyant force( how much volume of the object immersed)
constant: density of liquid used
responding: balas:weight of the water displaced
buoyant force = weight in the air(actual) - weight in the liquid( apparent loss)
central guiding question:
what is the relationship between the buoyant force and the weight of the liquid displaced???
hypothesis:
buoyant force and weight of liquid displaced have the same magnitude but opposite direction.
